Working alongside engineers based in Europe who had already started building the backend, the Everest team faced challenges associated with a globally distributed team and language barriers. Everest used innovative communication strategies, leveraging visual tools and dedicated collaboration periods to bridge the gap and create shared understanding.

Taking a strategic step back to evaluate the problem landscape, the team prioritised product features to optimise impact and streamline user journeys. This involved refining onboarding processes and integrating an AI-powered chatbot from third parties to enhance engagement.

Everest navigated the common challenges associated with being an early adopter of a number of new platforms to get cutting edge features - minimal documentation and evolving SDKs. However, the team demonstrated agility and resourcefulness, ensuring minimal disruptions to project timelines.
