Heatseeker, a promising marketing technology startup, wants to revolutionize how businesses validate their value proposition and run experiments with AI. We helped them to define and build their product, go to market, secure funding, and build an internal team to ensure long-term success.

Research-Driven, Rapid Iteration & Experimentation
We built a Proof of Concept (POC) in just two weeks, enabling Heatseeker to quickly enter the market with multiple value propositions that they could test with (Sentiment Analysis, Social Media Tests, Market Testing, Competitor Audit and so on..). This approach helped identify key differentiators and identify a competitive moat.
Scaling from POC to MVP
Leveraging insights from the POC along with primary and secondary research, we refined and focused our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) strategy. The MVP was designed to be lean, ensuring rapid market entry. We helped Heatseeker identify key Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) to prioritize, aligning the product strategy to target startups and scale-ups interested in running B2B market tests on LinkedIn. These were our early bets.Throughout this transition, many product features were tested in a hybrid mode, validating hypotheses with tools like Miro and low-fidelity prototypes before full implementation, co-creating with customers. This approach allowed for agile decision-making and efficient feature development.
The first Pivot (of Many)
Post launch, we saw significant early interest, but our Daily Active Users (DAUs) were down, and session times were notably low. We paused development to analyze key value drivers in the user journey and optimized the product to help customers reach those milestones faster. In parallel, we amplified our efforts through a focused communication strategy via website updates, webinars, and social media support to engage users more effectively.In addition to product changes, we shifted our customer strategy from targeting startups to focusing on more established companies. Our ICPs became more defined, targeting professionals within these firms, from enthusiasts to managers, for whom market testing is their bread and butter.These strategic decisions helped shape the product, ultimately leading to our first set of recurring customers.
Finding the Right Pricing Model (Chasing Gold )
We quickly recognized that the value users were deriving from the product was something they were willing to pay for. We conducted A/B testing on multiple pricing points and models, including subscription and pay-per-test options. Additionally, we experimented with different points in the user journey to determine when users would be most willing to pay without interrupting their experience. Currently, Heatseeker offers a 14-day trial before converting users to paid customers, a model that has proven effective for onboarding and retention.
Lean branding
We meticulously crafted a brand identity that places the customer at the core of our values and operations. This means understanding their needs, preferences, and pain points, and ensuring that every aspect of our brand, from messaging to product development, reflects this customer-first approach.
